Winner of a dti SMART award, the Interflush™ is a retrofit kit, to convert standard, single flushing WC siphons (no control over volume flushed) to interruptible flushing siphons (full control over volume flushed). The patented kit is designed to be user friendly in its operation, low cost, easy to install and applicable to the maximum number of different siphon and cistern designs with front mounted handles.
Can I install the interflush myself?
Yes you can, the Interflush comes complete with a DIY installation kit and instructions.
A siphon stops flushing when air is allowed to enter it. The Interflush™ introduces an air valve on top of the siphon which is closed when the flush handle is down,(to allow flushing) and open when the flush handle is up, (flushing stoppped).

It only flushes when the handle is held down, releasing the handle stops the flush (when pan is clear). It only uses what water is needed; that is why nothing can flush a toilet with less water. THE INTERFLUSH™ is the biggest W.C water saving device for over 140 years saving the maximum possible amount of water, nothing can beat the 'Interflush™'. The user stops the flush just as soon as the pan is clear, zero amount of water is wasted. It is the most cost effective way to save water with a very short payback time measured in weeks not years. There is no need to buy a new toilet suite or even a new siphon it simply fits on top of siphon, no need to even turn the water off. If you consider yourself to be a competent person, you should be able to fit your Interflush™ in less than half an hour. Interflush™ has a guaranteed 'trailing volume' with unique adjustment to increase this volume for troublesome drain lines, thereby eliminating drain line blockages associated with existing low volume flush devices.
It is designed to fit the maximum number of different siphons and cisterns with front mounted handles and is much easier and simpler than any other device to use. Just press, HOLD until clear, let go (all in one hand operation). Fitting the 'Interflush™' makes all cistern reduction devices obsolete and they can now be removed. The cistern can be set at maximum again, as it was designed to operate at. This eliminates double flushing associated with too low a cistern capacity. The cistern capacity can now be as big as you like, giving the flush a bigger 'oomph'.
Valves leak, siphons don't. Yet valves continue to displace the siphon worldwide, due to a combination of consumer apathy and dubious marketing of valve devices under the guise of 'simple push-button operation'. Once a valve flushing toilet is purchased, the owner is locked on to buying repair kits, a siphon cannot be fitted to valve cisterns, they have been designed that way.
A chief executive of a valve manufacturer was asked: 'But don't these valve flushing devices leak'?, answer: 'Of course they leak, that's why we sell so many'. The 'Interflush™' fits siphons, not valves and so will help to re-establish the siphon, the only device which cannot leak, as the dominant flushing method.
