Pre and Post Rehabilitation Assessment (PPRA) is a specialist area associated with water mains rehabilitation programme carried out by the UK water companies. Water companies capital mains renewal and renovation programme require a means of demonstrating success, these can be a number of different benefits aggregated together or one principal driver such as water quality. It is therefore important that water companies pre qualify their rehabilitation programmes using methodologies agreed with the regulator (Drinking Water Inspectorate).
